Kookaburra — Rigged Photorealistic 3D Model (PBR)
The Laughing Kookaburra (Dacelo novaeguineae) 3D model is a high-fidelity, photoreal asset — now fully rigged — built for close-up renders, cinematics, VFX, and premium visualization. It features real groomed feathers authored in 3ds Max 2027 with Arnold, backed by a full 8K PBR texture set for razor-sharp detail down to individual barbs.
The model is rigged with the 3ds Max CAT system, with full FK and IK control and ready-to-use pose layers — pose it in seconds, or use it as a clean starting point for your own animation. Feather growth maps are included so you can re-direct, re-groom, or adapt the plumage to your pipeline. For lighter real-time use, the package also ships alpha/opacity-based feather assets and a compact GLB export.
